Soneva Fushi & Six Senses Spa

Soneva Fushi by Six Senses is a privately owned island hideaway located on Baa Atoll just 25 minutes by seaplane from Male' Airport. The "Robinson Crusoe" villas were the first of their kind in the Maldives. These desert island villas are scattered along the beach. The island's unusually rich vegetation provides a unique natural experience of promising ultimate privacy.

The size of Soneva Fushi allows an enjoyable exploration by bicycle or an energetic run on one of Soneva Fushi's hidden jogging trails. The absence of major hotel development leaves one spoilt for choice of desert islands to picnic on. Many of the dive sites you will exlopre are new discoveries made by the PADI dive centre of Soneva Fushi.

Restaurants
Set on the sunrise side of the island, under the mighty Uhnee and Banyan trees you will discover Main Restaurant. Open daily from 1930 to 2230 Main serves modern Mediterranean a la carte cuisine. It is a feast for all six senses. The meals are prepared according to light and healthy cooking methods, using only the best ingredients available. The daily changing "Simply Soneva" menu represents a selection of premium produce, creatively assembled for your dining pleasure. To enhance your dining experience an Asian buffet is hosted on Tuesdays and an International BBQ every Saturday evening.

For breakfast and lunch dine at Mihiree Mitha Lunch. The international breakfast buffet is a feast of live cooking stations, fruits, fresh juices and smoothies, a collection of Asian dishes including Maldivian specialties, and imported cold cuts and cheese. There are a la carte breakfast specialties and a vast selection of fine freshly ground coffee and teas. At lunch you can mill over the live cooking stations, preparing barbecue, wok, pasta, wood fired pizzas, tandoori oven, extensive salad bar, ice cream parlor, pastry bakery counter, plus tea and coffee.

Ever Soneva So Hot and So Cool allows you to pick your favourite freshly churned ice-cream. Ever Soneva So Delicate is a relaxing breakfast and lunch venue offering gourmet hams, cold cuts, cheese and preserves.

Make a reservation at Organic Garden Restaurant to avoid disappointment. To reach this gastronomic heaven you will pass organic fruit and herb gardens, and climb broad winding stairs to a rope bridge that spans the banana plantation. A panoramic westerly aspect over the gardens and surrounding jungle afford spectacular views at sunset. Organic Garden The lunch is pure, organic grown island produce, Maldivian seafood, fruit and vegetables. You can even try a Asian cooking class with the chef in the vegetable garden. To encourage spontanity, you receive a glass of wine or two to make the cooking a little less stressful!

A true destination for fine cuisine and wine lovers is Me Dhuniye Restaurant. The menu is innovative, reflecting a fusion of Asian and Western cuisine whilst offering some interesting contrasts for the palate. This cuisine could seem over complicated to some, so  in addition a few daily changing traditional Asian specials are offered.

And, the ultimate in decadence and relaxation is In Villa Dining.

Bars
Drinks and snacks are available from the moment you arrive. The main bar is an oasis of calm. As the sun sets it becomes an idyllic setting for cocktails and conversation. The best selection of spirits and liqueurs are available within the stylish white and brown bar So Spiritual.

Learn to make your favourite cocktail classes at midday in wet weather, or savour a whiskey tasting.

For sunset cocktails hit Me Dhuniye Bar where there are over 700 wines available from the nearby Wine Cellar an extensive selection of whisky, rum and aperitifs. Seek the assistance of the Sommelier, or a wine tasting, and arrange for your selection to be enjoyed anywhere on the island. Evening wine tastings are an interactive discussion of six bottles with selected canapés to match the wines and our location. It is all the more enjoyable for the diversity of interests that gather around the tasting table.

The Champagne Bar is reminiscent of a Robinson Crusoe scene. Soneva will indulge guests until they are ready to leave and not before.

Cinema Paradiso
Screens evening movies from Wednesday to Friday. Lie back under the stars and snack on popcorn, Soneva ice cream and a wide selection of beverages, whilst you enjoy a showing of one of the silver screen's classics. Soneva is delighted to provide any special food and beverage requests for your enjoyment.

Six Senses & Spa
Central to the Six Senses Spa is a large reflecting pond and water walls, setting the tone for soul therapy. A refreshing menu of holistic and traditional treatments conducted by highly skilled therapists using all-natural products compliments the Six Senses signature journeys in addition to Thai, Balinese and doctor-assisted Ayurvedic and nutritional programmers'. Private Spa Suites are an option with several villas.

Late check out policy:
- Late check-out is subject to availability.

Policy on children staying with parents:
- Infants under two years old will be charged only the prevailing bed tax of US$ 8.00 per night.
- Infants are from naught to two years old.
- Children are two to twelve years old.
- Children 12 years old and above are charged as adults.
- The child rate is applicable if sharing with two adults in a double room only.

Cancellation Policy:
No-Show & Under Stay
- The total confirmed room rate for the entire length of stay is chargeable.
- No refund is available thereafter.

20th December 08 to 13th January 09
- Cancellation made three months or less prior to arrival date (90 days or less) incur a cancellation fee of the total room nights booked.

Rest of the year
- Cancellation made at least 25 days prior to arrival date incur no charges.
- Cancellation made between 25 and 14 days prior to arrival incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the entire booking or of the cancelled nights.
- Cancellation made within 14 days of arrival incur a cancellation fee of the total room nights booked.

- The scenic flight from the airport to Soneva Fushi takes approximately 30 minutes from Male' International Airport. Transfers are combined with other guests arriving or departing on the same flight or at the same time.
- Seaplane operates during daytime only in accordance to aviation regulations of the Maldives. Guests arriving to the Maldives after 5pm are required to spend a night in Male' or at the Airport Hotel prior to transferring to the respective resort the following day. Maximum waiting time at the airport is not more than 2 hours from the time you check-in at the seaplane counter.

Seaplane Baggage Allowance
- Each person may carry 20kg of checked luggage and 5kg of hand luggage.
- Excess baggage will be charged by the carrier directly.
- Excess baggage may not be transported on the same flight as its owner.
- Passengers with over-sized baggage or heavy equipment must inform the same at point of reservation and make special arrangements for transport of the same to the resort, which shall be separately charged.

Easter period - A minimum of 7 nights is required for all stays falling over Easter Sunday (04th April 2010)

Festive season  -  A minimum of 14 nights is required for all stays over New Years Eve
