Step off the boat on to this holiday island and you might imagine that you'd walked into an island village. A tree fringed shore of waving palms and lush beach foliage conceals a lively holiday community spread out on either side of the island. There are plenty of activities to be enjoyed at Meeru.
If it's a little relaxation you crave, there are plenty of shady beaches where you can take a casual stroll. Acknowledged as a bit of a divers' Mecca, Meeru is located right in the centre of some of the best dive sites in the Maldives. Meeru may be one of the more remote islands in the North Male' Atoll, but you'll find everything you could want for a perfect beach holiday.

No fuss dining, just good food is the order of the day at Meeru. No dressing up to impress. Just stroll in from the beach or from your room and sit down and enjoy. The only house rule is that no wet suits or wet clothes are allowed in the dining area. There are two restaurants and three bars where you will find everything you want, and at all hours of the day. Continue to have fun and there'll be plenty of food on offer just when you want it.
Farivalhu Restaurant even on the hottest day the breeze wafts through this amazing eatery. A tall sloping roof with cooling fans buzzing in the rafters. All meals are buffet, with the menu changing every day.
The Asian Wok specialises in Thai, Indian, Chinese and Maldivian cuisine.
The Hagern Restaurant servez grilled seafood, beef, and chicken aboard a "restaurant" yacht anchored in the lagoon. The Club 1919 bar, aboard the Hagern yacht anchored in the lagoon.
Maalan Restaurant is available exclusively for guests staying at the "Meeru Village".
Nestled next to the coffee shop Dhoni Bar spills out on to a wooden deck overlooking the sea, so you can sit and sip your cocktail next to the ocean. As well as the usual bar beverages, there's a list of cocktails to suit most tastes, and there's a daily cocktail special should you want to try something different every day. Poolside service is also available.
Located at the tip of the island, the secluded Beach Bar keeps swimmers and snorkelers active in the little beaches overlooking the lagoon fully refreshed. Informal and friendly, this is an ideal haunt for beach babies.
